About Out Of The Grid!
Out Of The Grid! aims to encourage you, the young adult (15-19 year olds) to think out of the box and to move your thought patterns out of the grid of mass consciousness. Instead of going with the flow of mass consciousness in decisions you make in your lives, you are encouraged to seek your own individuality and allow yourself to be unique and yet be aware of your connectedness with the rest of the human race.
Ultimately, being unique is not only in how you are dressed but certainly how you think and operate in consciousness. You will also be encouraged to be respectful in your individuality, to be effective in your communication skills and also to develop lateral thinking.
Monthly workshops are held as a way for OTGers (OutofTheGrid-ers) to learn and grow. The workshops will include exercises on self discovery, mini debates, mini workshops, creative thinking and lots of fun!
Topics of discussion will range from environmental issues, social issues, to taboo subjects such as racism, political differences and sex.
